Our survey story campaign for Leesa examined the personality differences in people based on their sleeping positions.



We conducted research exploring the sleeping habits of 2,000 American adults, and compared sleep positions with different personality traits. Using the survey to ask further questions about sleeping habits, we were able to build the ideal news story for a leading mattress retailer.

Alongside the page-ready news story, the key findings of the research were illustrated in an infographic and accompanied by a video.


The story earned over 80 pieces of coverage for Leesa, generating an estimated 7 million coverage views.

The piece landed on top-tier sites like the New York Post and Pretty52 - as well as Yahoo! News, Entertainment, and Finance. The TODAY Show featured the story on 3rd Hour of TODAY, reaching an estimated audience of over 2 million viewers. The story also landed on a variety of ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliate stations.
